NOTES

Found at depths of 10-20 m in sheltered waters. An ear-shaped shell with a prominent spiral ridge running around middle of last turn of the shell parallel to the outer edge. There is a row of 6-7 perforations on low nodules. Up to 45 mm. Lives under stones in rock pools or on shallow reefs. Grazes on algae and is itself eaten by reef fishes.
