NOTES

A solid oblong shell to 35 mm with a large bevelled, oval opening. The white inner margin projects beyond the coloured outer layer. The radial threads are crossed by growth lines. Lives subtidally on vertical rock faces and grazes on algae. Live animal appears slug-like as the mantle covers the shell.
