NOTES

A smooth shell which is longer than it is wide with a slightly raised spire and globular whorl. The umbilicus is covered by the callus. It reaches 30 mm. An infratidal species which is also found in estuaries. Preys on gastropods and bivalves. A flattened, leaf-like egg mass is attached by a short stalk.
