NOTES

An elongate shell to 34 mm with a tapering, sharply pointed spire. Has shallow grooves and flat ridges. The outer lip is thin and has fine ridges. The parietal callus is thin with a thick ridge around the base. A scavenger in sand infratidally. Broods the young and releases them as fully formed juveniles.
