NOTES

A smooth, depressed globular shell to 35 mm with a low spire and flattened base. The umbilicus is wide, C-shaped and partly hidden by a callus pad which is transected by a groove. A broad flattened ridge occurs at the edge of the umbillicus. Infratidal down to 50 m. Eats molluscs.
