NOTES

A velvet worm approximately 6 cm long which has 20 pairs of clawed legs known as stub feet (oncopods). There is a pair of antennae at the front end. They prey on smaller animals such as insects which they catch by spraying them with an adhesive slime. They bear live young and embryonic development takes 12-13 months
